Where you can use your card
You can use the Northern Territory (NT) Seniors Recognition Scheme prepaid card at approved businesses that provide travel, accommodation and other services.
It can be used in store, online or over the phone.
Always select the credit card payment option.
Before you make a purchase
Before you make a purchase, you should do all of the following:
- ask the business if they accept the prepaid card
- know your personal identification number (PIN)
- make sure you have enough money on your card
- if you want to split the payment, tell the business how much you want to use from your card
- always select ‘credit account’ on the EFTPOS machine when using your card in store.
Travel
You can use the prepaid card to travel:
- within the Northern Territory
- interstate
- overseas.
You can pay for services (including online bookings) like:
