Year 12 results

Year 12 results for the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (NTCET) include a record of achievement and tertiary entrance statement.

NTCET and record of achievement

The NTCET is an official document that certifies the student has completed their senior secondary studies.

The record of achievement is an official transcript of the student’s Stage 1 and Stage 2 results for South Australian Certificate and Education (SACE) subjects and other recognised learning.

Results and certification

In December each year, students receive a results package via post with:

  • their NTCET
  • a NTCET results information sheet - a detailed explanation of the certificate and record of achievement
  • a letter from the Minister for Education and Training.
As of 2025, students must access the following documents on the SACE Students Online website:
  • record of achievement
  • tertiary education statement, including their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

For access problems, call the SACE board on 1300 322 920 or email asksace@sa.gov.au.

Vocational education and training results

Students who complete Vocational Education and Training (VET) as part of their NTCET studies can see their results on the record of achievement.

Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR)

The ATAR measures a student's overall academic achievement compared to other students.

Universities use the ATAR to select applicants.

The ATAR for NT students is calculated by the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).

For more information, go to the SATAC website.
