Water extraction licence
In the Northern Territory (NT), a water extraction licence lets you take groundwater or surface water using a bore or river pump system.
When you don't need a licence
You don't need a water licence if the water is for:
- stock and domestic use
- road construction and/or maintenance.
When you need a licence
