Doing business with MVR

You can do business with MVR a variety of ways.

Choose the option that best suits what you need to do.

By email

You can get your renewal notices by email using MVR Quick Pay. You will need to update your details and add an email address.

Tick 'I would like to receive my notices via email'.

You will need your MVR customer ID to get or pay your bills online.

You can find your MVR customer ID on your certificate of registration or your renewal notices.

Get an SMS reminder

You can receive free SMS renewal reminders one week before your licence or registration is due.

Simply update your contact details in MVR QuickPay, go to a participating Australia Post Office that provides MVR services, email mvr@nt.gov.au or call 1300 654 628 during business hours.

Download the free NT Rego app for your smartphone or tablet

Set your own renewal reminder and check when inspections are due.

You can do the following licence and registration business online:

  • renew your licence
  • renew your registration
  • change your contact details.

Renew your licence, registration or change your details at the MVR Quick Pay website.

You will need your MVR customer ID to get and pay your notices online.
