Sport Voucher Scheme: urban
Apply to be a registered activity provider
Individuals, clubs and organisations can apply to become a registered activity provider to provide activities to children as part of the Sport Voucher Scheme in the Northern Territory (NT).
Registered activity providers can receive vouchers of up to $200 for every enrolled student in the NT.
Your activities must involve one or all of the following:
- sport
- recreation
- culture.
Urban areas where you can become an activity provider under the scheme include:
- Alice Springs
- Darwin
- Darwin rural
- Mataranka
- Nhulunbuy
- Katherine
- Palmerston
- Tennant Creek.
There are steps you must follow to become an activity provider for the Sport Voucher Scheme.
Before you apply
Before you apply to become an activity provider you must have all of the following:
- current public liability insurance
- working with children clearances - for you and anyone else involved in delivering programs
- a structured program.
How to apply in urban areas
To apply follow these steps:
Step 1. Read the Sport Voucher Scheme policy PDF (1.1 MB).
Step 2. Apply online through GrantsNT. You will need to register (even if you are a sole trader) if you don't have an account.
Step 3. Fill in the application and submit.
Your application will be assessed and you will be advised of the outcome.
