Activities for registered activity providers

This page lists the types of activities you can offer as a registered provider for the Sport Voucher Scheme.

Types of providers for the program include all of the following:

  • sporting activity providers
  • recreation activity providers
  • cultural activity providers.

Eligible sport activities

The following is a list of activities you can offer as a registered activity provider for the scheme.

Your activity must be for a sport that has a national sporting organisation recognised by the Australian Sports Commission.

Eligible active recreation activities

Your activity must involve physical exertion with a focus on human activity and engaging people for the purpose of relaxation, health and wellbeing or enjoyment.

Examples of active recreation activities
Bushwalking/hiking Junior police rangers Drum running
Scouts and Girl Guides Quarter horse Golf driving range
Yoga Whip cracking Air Force cadets
Riding for the disabled Youth centres Rodeo
Fitness training Rock climbing -
Duke of Edinburgh Award Crossfit -

Eligible cultural activities

Your activity must involve structured programs, classes or lessons that encourage activity rather than passive cultural participation.

Programs must develop knowledge and skills for creating, expressing, maintaining and preserving culture and building a sense of identity, purpose and community.

Examples of eligible cultural activities
Dance, hip hop, ballet Music Cultural walking tours
