There are two passenger ferry services operating from Darwin:

  • Cullen Bay to Mandorah
  • Cullen Bay to Tiwi Islands.

The Northern Territory Government has an agreement with Sealink NT to operate the ferry service.

For timetables and fares, go to the Sealink NT website.

Follow the code

All school students travelling on the Darwin to Mandorah ferry must follow the code of conduct.

The code applies to all Territory students attending primary, middle and secondary schools who use the ferry to travel to or from school, or for other school related activities. It includes guidelines on:

  • behaviour standards
  • student, parent/carer, school and operator responsibilities
  • written warnings
  • bans on travel for up to 10 school days
  • procedures for managing misbehaviour.

Read the code of conduct for ferry travel.
