Clinic 34 is a specialist sexual health service that provides testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV and AIDS.
All services are free and confidential. You do not need a Medicare Card
Services include all of the following:
- testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections including HIV
- emergency HIV prevention medication
- condoms and the emergency contraceptive pill, also called the morning after pill
- referral service for general practitioners (GP) and other primary health carers
- needle and syringe program outlet - for other outlets contact Northern Territory AIDS and Hepatitis Council.
If you need general medical care, pap smears or ongoing contraception, you should see a GP, family planning, your local community care centre or a remote health clinic.

Different locations may have different opening hours for appointments and walk-ins. You should call before walking in to any clinic.

Directions
By car or taxi
- enter RDH campus via Florey Avenue off Rocklands Drive
- take the first left on to Hippocrates Road
- take the first right on Nightingale Road
- park your car at car park 4 or 5 at the end of Nightingale Road
- building 4 is before the overpass
- follow the sign.
From the bus stop or the front of the hospital
- enter RDH from the main entrance facing Florey Avenue
- follow the signs for outpatient and radiology department
- at the end of the corridor:
- locate the blue sign for x-ray and
- use the grey exit door leading to the ramp down to Nightingale Road
- use the zebra crossing to building 4
- follow the sign.
