This facility is managed under a lease to the Northern Territory Firearms Council.

The facility is used by all of the following Darwin-based shooting clubs:

• Darwin Rifle Club
• Darwin Pistol Club
• Sporting Shooters Association of Australia.

Facilities

Mickett Creek Shooting Complex hosts competition in all of the following areas:

• fullbore rifle
• small bore
• muzzle-loading
• metallic silhouette
• bench rest
• single action.

Events

The facility hosts regional, national, and international events including those supported by the following:

• International Practical Shooting Confederation
• International Shooting Sport Federation.
