Apply for social housing

If you are on a low income, you can apply for social housing in the Northern Territory (NT).

Social housing includes public housing and community housing. These homes are owned by the government and delivered by the government or a community housing provider.

The rent is usually less than you would pay in the private sector.

To apply, you will need to meet conditions relating to age, income, assets and residency.
