Learn to swim vouchers for your child
Learn to Swim vouchers for the 2018 to 2019 year are now closed.
The next round will open on 1 July 2019.
If your child is under five years old and not enrolled in preschool or school, you can apply for learn to swim vouchers in the Northern Territory (NT).
This is called the Learn to Swim Voucher Program.
Your child can receive two $100 Learn to Swim vouchers each year, one in January and one in July.
Your child must be registered for the water safety awareness program run by the Royal Life Saving Society before you apply for the vouchers.
To get a Learn to Swim voucher your child must be all of the following:
- a resident of the NT
- under five years old
- not enrolled in preschool or school
- registered for the water safety awareness program on the Royal Life Saving NT website.

Step 1. Register for the water safety awareness program on the Royal Life Saving NT website.
Step 2. Apply for a learn to swim voucher online from 1 July 2019.
Step 3. Find a registered swim activity provider on the Grants Tracker website.
Step 4. Book lessons with the registered swim activity provider using your learn to swim voucher.
