If you run a small community group of 100 members or less and want to serve alcohol to members, you must register.

Registering allows you to serve drinks for up to 4 hours per week if:

  • you don't have a liquor licence
  • the person serving has a responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certificate
  • it's served at the premises nominated on the registration
  • the main purpose of your small community group is to run an activity, not to drink alcohol.

For example, it will allow your group to serve drinks:

  • after training or games to team members
  • to members at practice
  • to the workplace as part of a social club.

Fee

It is free to register.
