Liquor wholesaler sale reports

As a registered liquor wholesaler, you must report on the quantity of alcohol you have sold to retailers.

This includes:

  • cask wine
  • bottled wine
  • fortified wine
  • cider
  • standard spirits
  • pre-mixed spirits
  • beer – all strengths.

The reports are also used in calculating the retailer's annual liquor licence fees.

When to submit your reports

Reports are due 28 days after the end of each quarter.

Quarters end on the last day of:

  • March
  • June
  • September
  • December.

You must submit a report even if no sales were made.

How to submit

To submit, follow these steps:

Step 1. Fill in the quarterly liquor returns template XLSX (662.0 KB). Don't change the template.

Step 2. Include the details of the retailers that have purchased from you. Find these details on the public register of NT licensed premises.

Step 3. Email your returns to licntwholesalerreturns@nt.gov.au.
