Roadside banners promoting events
If you're promoting a community event, you can apply to display a banner on the Stuart Highway near Fred's Pass.
The banner can be displayed for up to 7 day and is free of charge.
Before you apply
Before you apply, your sign must:
- be covered by public liability insurance
- have standard font with minimum letter size as:
- 200mm for organisation name and sponsors (if any)
- 300mm for event name, date and time and venue
- contrasting colours for font and background - no bright and multi-coloured lettering
- be manufactured to a professional standard using canvas and strong cloth
- be attached by cord, rope, cable ties or plastic covered bicycle type lock - uncovered chain or wire must not be used.
Sponsors
Major sponsors can be included using up to 15% of the sign.
They must not be more noticeable than the signs' main purpose.

To apply, follow these steps.
Step 1. Fill in the application form below:

Step 2. Attach public liability insurance.
Step 3. Email application and supporting document to roadsdarwin.ntg@nt.gov.au.
