NT Volunteer of the Year Awards
The Northern Territory (NT) Volunteer of the Year Awards celebrate exemplary volunteer work.
They also recognise the contribution that volunteers make to communities in the NT.
The awards are an initiative of Volunteering SA&NT and are sponsored by the NT Government.
Award categories
The awards recognise the following categories in the Top End and Central Australia:
- Chief Minister’s Volunteer of the Year Award
- Chief Minister’s Youth Volunteer of the Year Award
- Chief Minister's Community Volunteer Organisation /Team of the Year Award
- Grassroots Volunteering Award
- Excellence in Volunteer Management Award.
- NTES Emergency Services Volunteer of the Year Award
- NT SESVA Emergency Services Youth Volunteer of the Year Award.
How to nominate
Nominations are now open until Tuesday 15 April.
To nominate an individual or organisation, go to the Volunteering SA&NT website.
When the awards take place
The awards will be held in 2 locations:
- Central Australia – Alice Springs on Tuesday 20 May
- Top End – Darwin on Friday 23 May.
