Eye health in remote communities

Specialist eye doctors from the opthalmology outreach team can visit your community to check the health of your eyes.

If you have a problem with your eyes, you should go to your local health clinic

Your doctor will send a referral to the hospital, which will assess your referral.

Then you will be either treated in your community or go to your nearest regional hospital for treatment.
