Cancer services and early detection

Early detection plays an important role in finding cancer at the initial stages to make sure it is treated accordingly.

Prostate checks, breast and cervical cancer screening services are available in the Northern Territory (NT) at your local general practitioner (GP) or medical clinic.

If you are eligible for the national bowel screening program you will receive a letter in the mail.

Family Planning Welfare Association of NT Inc (FPWNT)

FPWNT offers clients safe and confidential access to sexual and reproductive health services, education and information. This service advises on contraception, pregnancy options, well women’s health screening and general sexual health issues.
