State funeral for Fay Miller AM
On Friday 26 May at 10:30am, a state funeral will be held for Fay Miller AM.
The service will take place at Christ Church Anglican Cathedral, 2 Smith Street, Darwin.
Fay was born and raised in South Australia, before moving to Katherine and becoming a dedicated advocate for the community.
She represented Katherine in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly for 5 years, including deputy leader of her party for a period of time.
Fay later served as Mayor of Katherine Town Council for almost a decade.
Following her retirement, she was also named a member of the Order of Australia.

Seating will be reserved for immediate family and for those attending in an official capacity.
All other seating will be in order of arrival. Following the service, light refreshments will be provided.
Attendees are encouraged to wear bright and colourful attire and in lieu of flowers, a donation to Cancer Council NT is appreciated.
