Darwin Salties set for a stellar season
Former NBA player Nathan Jawai has signed on for a second season with the Darwin Salties NBL1 club.
The NBL1 season begins Saturday 25 March, with the Salties men and women set to play 9 home games in their second season in the 'North' division.
NBL1 is the division below the full-time professional NBL and WNBL level and features 70 NBL1 Clubs across Australia.
The Darwin Salties had the highest attendance of any club and the most digital views during the 2022 season.
This season Territorians will be able to watch the games in the new 344-seat portable grandstand at Darwin Basketball Stadium.
The upgraded seating has been installed between courts 1 and 2, increasing the overall crowd capacity for events to around 1200.
