Bridgestone World Solar Challenge on its way to Darwin
The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge is gearing up for its return to the bitumen, after a 4-year hiatus from hosting teams on Australian soil.
The world’s largest and most prestigious solar car event challenges secondary and tertiary students from more than 20 countries to undertake the 3,000km journey from Darwin to Adelaide, travelling through iconic Australian landscapes in their self-engineered and designed solar-powered vehicles.
Back to its traditional Sunday start, the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge will begin 22 October 2023, and conclude in Adelaide on Sunday 29 October 2023.
