Quick Response Grant
Through the Quick Response Grant, you can get funding to access career development and creative opportunities that arise at short notice.
Examples:
- travel costs to participate in a showcase, marketplace, or conference that arises at short notice
- opportunities to present or promote artworks and arts and cultural activities at short notice, including travel costs and freight
- participation in specialist workshops, arts industry forums, unaccredited learning activities or national marketplaces and showcases.
Funding available
Each financial year, individuals can apply for up to:
- $1,000 for materials or travel
- $2,000 for professional development costs including travel and associated fees.
If you live in a very remote part of Australia and your activity includes travel, you may be eligible for up to an additional $500 per financial year to help cover travel costs.
Who can apply
To be eligible:
- you must be an NT artist or arts worker
- you must meet the guidelines and eligibility requirements
- at least 50% of your activity budget must come from sources other than Arts NT
- arts organisations can only administer this grant to support applicants with accessibility needs.
How to apply
This grant is open until 31 May 2027 or until the funding runs out.
After you apply
Applications are assessed by the Department of People, Sport and Culture.
You will be notified of the outcome within 20 working days of submitting a complete application.
If approved, you can only start activities after the funding agreement is signed.
