Professional Development Grant
Through the Professional Development Grant, you can get funding to support career development opportunities that build skills, knowledge, networks and leadership capacity, strengthening professional practice and raising the profile of NT artists and arts workers.
Example:
- taking part in workshops, forums, informal training or national events that clearly support your professional growth.
Funding available
Individuals can apply for up to $2,000 per financial year.
If you live in a very remote part of Australia and your activity includes travel, you may be eligible for up to an additional $500 per financial year to help cover travel costs.
Who can apply
To be eligible:
- you must meet the general eligibility criteria in the Arts Grants Program guidelines
- at least 50% of your activity budget must come from sources other than Arts NT
- arts organisations can only administer this grant to support applicants with accessibility needs
- you must show how the proposed professional development opportunity will primarily support your career.
How to apply
This grant is open until 31 May 2026 or until the funding runs out.
You will be notified of your application outcome within 20 working days of submitting your application.
You can only start activities after the funding agreement is signed.
