Arts projects grants

You can apply for funding for projects that create and showcase the arts, provide skills development and employment opportunities and support community access and participation in the arts.

You can apply for up to $20,000 per application for:

  • presentation and promotion
  • skills development
  • arts development.

You can apply for up to $15,000 per application as an early career artist to:

  • develop new work
  • showcase or
  • upskill.

An early career artist is someone who is in their first 5 years of professional practice.

Who can apply

You can apply if you're an NT individual, group or organisation.

You must meet the eligibility requirements in the Arts Grants Program guidelines.

Round 1

Round 1 opens Monday 11 September and closes 2pm Thursday 12 October 2023.

You will be notified of your application outcome from 1 December 2023.

You can only start activities after 1 January 2024, after the funding agreement is signed.

Round 2

Round 2 opens Monday 5 February and closes 2pm Monday 11 March 2024.

You will be notified of your application outcome from 3 May 2024.

You can only start activities after 1 July 2024, after the funding agreement is signed.
