Arts Projects grant

If you're eligible, you can apply for funding to deliver arts projects in the Northern Territory (NT).

These arts projects should:

• create and showcase the arts of the NT
• provide employment opportunities for NT artists or
• support community access and participation in the arts.

What you can apply for

You can apply for up to:

• $30,000 per application to develop, present, promote or tour your art
• $15,000 per application as an early career artist to develop, present, promote or tour your art.

An early career artist is someone who is in their first 5 years of professional practice.

Who can apply

You can apply if you're an NT individual, group or organisation.

You must meet the eligibility requirements in the Arts Grants Program guidelines.

How to apply

Round 1 applications

Round 1 closed on 25 September 2024.

You will be notified of your application outcome from 12 December 2024.

You can only start projects after 1 January 2025, once the funding agreement is signed.

Round 2 applications

Round 2 opens 3 February 2025. Closes 2pm on 5 March 2025.

You can apply online at GrantsNT.

You will be notified of your application outcome from 16 May 2025.

You can only start projects after 1 July 2025, once the funding agreement is signed.
