Step 2. Make a complaint

Feedback and complaints are welcomed from any member of the school community including students. You can even do it anonymously.

Before you start

Try talking with the school or service area first. They will listen and work with you to resolve your concerns.

How to make a complaint

Mobile phone and laptop 

You can make a complaint in person, by phone, email or online.

Go to the online complaint form or contact school operations.

Your complaint will be assessed in line with the department's complaint resolution policy and guidelines.

You will be kept updated and may be asked to provide more information.

The department aims to resolve complaints within 30 business days. If your complaint is complex and requires more time, you will be contacted.

Once a decision has been made, you will be informed of the outcome.

If you're unhappy with the outcome or the way your complaint was handled, you can ask for a review. Go to step 3 - request a review.
