Club and community club events and alcohol
A licensee with a club or community club authority in the Northern Territory (NT) may notify the director of their intention to hold a function as allowed in the Liquor Regulations 2019.
How to notify
A licensee with a club or community club authority must notify the director by following these steps:

Apply to register as a server of liquor - small community groups
Small community groups that want to serve liquor to members must register and have no more than 100 members.
You may apply for registration if:
- you are not a current licensee or
- not involved with the supply of liquor.
Registration allows you to serve liquor for up to four hours per week.
You can only serve liquor at the premises nominated on the application.
A small community group can register for 3 years.

Step 2. Email your form to liquorlicensing.ditt@nt.gov.au.
There are no fees to register.
After you apply
Your application will be assessed and you be will be advised of the outcome.
If your application is approved you will receive a certificate of registration.
You must reapply when your registration certificate expires.
