Business Pivot Grant
If you run a business in the Northern Territory, you may be able to apply for funding to adapt to the changing economic environment.
The funding may assist to grow profits and improve the visibility of your business.
It can help your business access new markets, create a new product or offer a new service.
Applications are now closed. If you submitted before the cut off date, your application is currently being processed.
Before you apply
To get funding, you must show how it will benefit your business by:
- accessing new markets - where the product or service is new
- improving profitability and visibility through improved digital capabilities and new technologies.
You must also go through a registered provider to access this service.
Who can apply
You can apply if you:
- have an annual turnover of more than $75,000 and less than $10 million
- you’re a Territory enterprise
- hold a valid Australian business number (ABN)
- employ at least one full-time and no more than 20 full-time employees.
What you can get
You can apply for up to $10,000 on a 25/75 contribution.
The funding can be used for:
- buying new equipment, technology or software
- hiring a consultant to improve digital capabilities
- renovations or improvements to support the growth of new markets.

After you apply
You will be advised of the outcome.
If you're successful, you will get an approval email with a voucher.
The voucher covers 75% of the total cost of works, up to a maximum of $10,000.
Services must be:
- provided after application is approved
- completed by the voucher's expiry date.
Register as a service provider
To be a service provider, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- be a Territory enterprise
- hold a valid Australian business number (ABN)
- have provided services for at least 12 months before registering
- maintain all relevant business, occupation and related permits, licences and insurance coverage
- have successfully registered to be part of the program.
