Transfer or sublease a pastoral lease
You must get the consent of the Minister for Environment and Natural Resources or their delegate to transfer or sublease a perpetual pastoral lease. Read the law.
To get consent follow these steps.
Step 2. Prepare your application. Every item on the vendor and purchaser checklists must be addressed.
Step 3. Attach any supporting documents you may need as listed in the checklists. Fill in, sign and attach the consent to transfer or sublease form.
Step 4. Pay the fee of 138 revenue units. For more information about revenue units, go to the Department of Treasury and Finance website.
You can pay by cash, cheque, money order or credit card. Payments must be made to the Receiver of Territory Monies.
Step 5. Submit your written application and supporting documents by mail or email to:
