Employers: work health and safety

As an employer, you are legally responsible for the health and safety of your workers.

Your obligations

You must provide a safe work environment, and hold a current workers' compensation policy for each of your workers. 

You must provide information, training, or supervision for your workers to protect their health and safety.

Your workers' health and work conditions must be monitored to prevent illness or injury.

Workers should also be consulted on health and safety matters that affect them.
