Temporary traffic management service providers
For service providers who want to become registered for Temporary Traffic Management (TTM), read the TTM Service Provider Registration Operational Framework on the Austroads website.
Registration is mandatory for all works managed by state and territory road authorities participating in the framework.
While the term ‘registration’ is adopted nationally, in the NT it will be referred to as TTM Service Provider Accreditation.
Transitional arrangements
There is no date set yet for the NT to adopt the TTM Service Provider Registration Operational Framework.
In the interim, read the below transitional arrangements.
Existing service providers
Service providers that have previously carried out works for the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL) are provided conditional approval for one year.
This will allow the provider time to meet all requirements to get accredited under the framework.
New service providers
If you have not carried out works for DIPL before, you must apply through the framework.
You must do this to work on the NTG road network.
To find out more, go to Austroads website.
