Take a rider training course with an authorised provider

To get your motorcycle learner licence and to upgrade to your next stage of licence, you must pass a rider training course.

You must book your pre-learner and pre-provisional rider course directly with an authorised provider.

You should speak to your preferred provider about whether you need to provide your own motorcycle and helmet for the course.

After the course

Your provider will tell you at the end whether you have passed your rider training course.

If you don't pass, you can re-book another course.

Your result will remain valid for 12 months.
