Permit of exemption fees

Fees apply according to the type of exemption.

Steer axle mass 7.1 and up to 7.2 tonne

Minimum tyre section width is 375mm and yearly fee is $1,476.

An exemption of a heavy vehicle approved for volumetric loading of livestock (prime movers, dollies and semi trailers with an unladen mass of more than 12 tonnes but less than 13 tonnes) $29
An exemption of a semi-trailer, with an unladen mass of more than 13 tonnes but less than 14 tonnes, that is used to carry livestock $363
An exemption of a semi-trailer, with an unladen mass of 14 tonnes or more but less than 15 tonnes, that is used to carry livestock $726

Indivisible loads greater than 125 tonnes

For indivisible loads more than 125 tonnes, the fee is calculated on mass and distance formula.

For any other exemption, the yearly fee is $67.
