Touring the Territory and Export Ready Fund

The Touring the Territory and Export Ready Fund, supports NT and interstate tours to:

  • grow audiences
  • increase access to arts and cultural participation
  • strengthen employment and market opportunities.

Tours involving very remote communities and those with active community participation are prioritised.

Examples:

  • A live theatre production touring 5 very remote communities, with school workshops and community question and answer sessions.
  • A visual arts exhibition touring to remote art centres, featuring artist-led workshops and collaborative site-specific works.
  • An NT musician with a market-ready album tours interstate or overseas.

Funding available

Up to $20,000 is available per application each financial year for individuals, groups and organisations.

Who can apply

To be eligible:

  • you must meet the general eligibility criteria in the Arts Grants Program guidelines
  • at least 50% of your project budget must come from sources other than Arts NT.

What you should know

Read following important information:

  • touring the Territory means presenting the same show, exhibition, or activity in 2 or more NT communities (not including your home base), within a set timeframe
  • export refers to a show, exhibition, or activity that’s ready to tour beyond the NT, including internationally.

Key dates

  • Applications open at 8am on 1 September 2025
  • Applications close at 2pm on 2 October 2025
  • Notification of outcome from 11 December 2025
  • Activity must start after execution of the funding agreement
  • Case study report due 3 months after completion of the approved activity.
