Legislative changes for agents' representatives in real estate businesses
Legislative changes have been made to make it easier for real estate agents to do business with reduced fees and long-term registrations.
The changes will allow you to get or renew registration for 3 or 5 years, alongside the existing one year option.
A 10% fee discount is included on 3 year and 5 year options.
Existing agents’ representatives will need to submit renewal forms before 1 May 2026 to register for one, 3 or 5 years. Police checks will not be needed for renewals.
