Asset Assistance Grant

Eligible non-profit organisations can apply for up to $10,000 to repair or replace assets significantly damaged by an eligible disaster event.

Who can apply

Your organisation must:

• be a non-profit organisation with an ABN
• be located in an eligible local government area (LGA).
• have suffered asset damage directly caused by a disaster event
• be financially viable before the disaster and intends to continue operating in the same location
• have exhausted insurance and other available funding sources before seeking assistance.

Before you apply

Before applying, you should:

• check if you are located in the eligible LGA on the NT Electoral Commission website
• prepare the supporting materials:
  • copy of your insurance (if applicable)
  • photos of the damaged asset
  • invoices or quotes for repair or replacement of asset.
