Territory Day bus services

Territory Day is on Wednesday 1 July 2026.

For the celebrations at Mindil Beach, extra departure times have been added to several bus routes.

These times may vary:

  • depending on which bus interchange you're travelling from
  • due to traffic and weather conditions.

Buses will also stop at bus stops along the way.

See below for departure and return times.

These additional bus services are free, as are all regular services.

Route 4 will depart from bay D, Bradshaw Tce bus stop to Mindil Beach D at:

  • 5:10pm
  • 6:00pm
  • 6:30pm
  • 7:00pm
  • 7:30pm

From Mindil Beach to Bradshaw Tce bus stop

Buses will leave from 8:30pm at regular intervals as required.

The last bus will leave at 9:30pm.

Route 15 will depart from bay E, Darwin Harry Chan bus stop at:

  • 3:58 pm
  • 4:18 pm
  • 4:40 pm
  • 5:02 pm
  • 5:22 pm
  • 5:42 pm
  • 6:02 pm
  • 6:22 pm
  • 6:42 pm
  • 6:50 pm
  • 7:02 pm
  • 7:10 pm
  • 7:15 pm
  • 7:22 pm
  • 7:30 pm
  • 7:42 pm
  • 7:50 pm

From Mindil Beach to Darwin Harry Chan bus stop

Buses will leave from 8:30pm at regular intervals as required.

The last bus will leave at 9:30pm.

Route 16 will depart from bay E, Palmerston interchange at:

  • 4:00 pm
  • 5:10 pm
  • 6:00 pm
  • 6:30 pm
  • 7:00 pm
  • 7:30 pm

From Mindil Beach to interchange

Route 17 will leave from 8:30pm at regular intervals as required.

The last bus will leave at 9:30pm.
