Lest we forget – Light Up The ANZAC Spirit

In support of this year’s ANZAC commemorations, our history will come to life in a new way, with moving and powerful symbols of ANZAC illuminated by projections in Katherine and Darwin.

The projections, Light Up the Anzac Spirit, will include a mixture of historical and present-day imagery, including commemorative and iconic images of people and places.

Light Up the Anzac Spirit will be approximately 10-15 minutes long and showcase Australia and the Northern Territory’s rich ANZAC history.

The projections are accompanied by a moving audio scape which can be experienced through an immersive Silent Cinema style headphones, for both the Katherine and the Darwin Waterfront Installations.

On Friday, 21 April, Light Up the Anzac Spirit will be in Katherine and projected onto an iconic semi-trailer 15 metres wide and 3 metres high.

The semi-trailer will be located next to the Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts & Culture Centre and can be experienced from 7.00pm – 9.30pm.
