Arts Projects Grant

Through the Arts Projects Grant, you can apply for funding to create, develop, present and promote NT arts and culture.

The grant helps strengthen artist capability, creative careers, community connection and audience engagement.

Funding available

Up to $30,000 is available per application for:

  • individuals
  • groups
  • organisations.

Who can apply

To be eligible:

  • you must read and meet the guidelines and eligibility requirements
  • your project can't be presented at NT major events
  • if you are requesting over $15,000 and don’t have an ABN, you must apply through an administering body.

Arts organisations receiving more than $100,000 annually from the Arts Grants Program can't apply or act as an administering body if the project is part of their regular program.

How to apply

Round 1 applications:

  • open on 3 August 2026
  • close at 2pm on 14 September 2026.

Round 2 applications:

  • open on 2 November 2026
  • close at 2pm on 14 December 2026.

Round 3 applications:

  • open on 15 February 2027
  • close at 2pm on 30 March 2027.

After you apply

Applications are assessed by a panel.

Round 1:

  • You will be notified of the outcome from 26 October 2026.
  • If approved, activity must start from 1 December 2026.
  • A case study report is due 3 months after completing the approved activity.

Round 2:

  • You will be notified of the outcome from 15 February 2026.
  • If approved, activity must start from 1 March 2027.
  • A case study report is due 3 months after completing the approved activity.

Round 3:

  • You will be notified of the outcome from 10 May 2027.
  • If approved, activity must start from 1 June 2027.
  • A case study report is due 3 months after completing the approved activity.
