Small Arts Projects Grant
Through the Small Arts Projects Grant, you can get funding for arts and cultural activities across the NT that increase community access, engagement and participation in the arts.
Priority is given to:
- very remote arts organisations
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- young people
- people with disability
- seniors and multicultural communities.
Examples:
- a series of theatre workshops for young people resulting in a performance created by the young participants and open to the wider community to attend
- a visual arts project with participants from multicultural backgrounds, resulting in an exhibition and community celebration
- engagement of an Aboriginal Elder as the cultural workshop teacher for the sharing of knowledge and preservation of traditional arts practice.
Funding available
Individuals, groups and organisations can apply for up to $5,000 each financial year.
Who can apply
To be eligible:
- you must meet the general eligibility criteria in the Arts Grants Program guidelines
- the activity must have a clear arts and cultural outcome and/or output
- organisations and groups must have a lead artist confirmed to apply
- arts organisations receiving over $50,001 per annum through the AGP cannot apply.
How to apply
This grant is open until 31 May 2026, or until the funding runs out.
You will be notified of your application outcome within 20 working days of submitting your application.
You can only start activities after the funding agreement is signed.
