Small Arts Grant
Through the Small Arts Grant, you can get funding for arts and cultural activities across the NT that increase community access, engagement and participation in the arts.
Examples:
- development and presentation of creative projects or works
- community-based arts activities, workshops or participatory projects
- collaboration between artists, collectives or small organisations
- activities that support emerging artists or those at an early stage of their career
- pilot or seed projects that may lead to future larger initiatives.
Funding available
Individuals, groups and organisations can apply for up to $5,000 per financial year.
Who can apply
To be eligible:
- you must read and meet the guidelines and eligibility requirements
- the activity must have a clear arts and cultural outcome.
Arts organisations funded through 5-year funding agreements through the AGP cannot apply.
How to apply
Round 1 applications:
- open on 1 October 2026
- close at 2pm on 2 November 2026.
Round 2 applications:
- open on 1 February 2027
- close at 2pm on 1 March 2027.
After you apply
Applications are assessed by a panel.
Round 1:
- You will be notified of the outcome from 30 November 2026.
- If approved, activity must start from 1 January 2027.
- A case study report is due 3 months after completing the approved activity.
Round 2:
- You will be notified of the outcome from 30 March 2027.
- If approved, activity must start from 1 May 2027.
- A case study report is due 3 months after completing the approved activity.
