Concerns or complaints about your early childhood service

If you have a concern or complaint about your early childhood education and care service, talk to your service provider first, if you feel it is appropriate to do so.

If you are unable to resolve the issue with your service provider or you do not feel it is appropriate to raise the issue with the service provider directly, contact Quality Education and Care NT (QECNT).

This is the state regulatory body that helps Territorians resolve concerns or complaints regarding regulated services.

How your concern or complaint is managed

The QECNT team will contact you within 15 business days of your complaint.

The severity and complexity of your complaint will determine how long it will take to be resolved.

After a thorough review, the team may send you a letter outlining the outcome of your concern or complaint.

Any personal information provided will remain confidential unless you give permission for it to be shared.
