Permit types and expiry
| Permit type | Expiry |

| Permanent resident - new or renewal | 3 years |
| Contractor | Duration of contract, but no longer than 12 months |
| Visitor | Duration of visit, but no longer than 3 months |
Permit classes
Liquor permits in Maningrida have classes A to D that you can apply for.
If you are applying after a revocation, you can only apply for a class D permit.
Purchase limits
Each fortnight you can choose one option for your class type.
Class A
- One carton of heavy beer
- 20 cans of heavy cider and one carton of light or mid-strength beer
Class B
- One carton of light or mid-strength beer and six bottles of wine
- One carton of heavy beer
- 20 cans of heavy cider and one carton of light of mid-strength beer
Class C
- Two cartons of light or mid-strength beer
Class D
- One carton of mid-strength beer
- Two cartons of light beer
Alcohol delivery service
Ordering and pickup of alcohol is managed through the Maningrida Progress Association (MPA) store.
