Occupation liquor permit application

The following occupations use a shared liquor permit application:

  • helifish workers for the Anson Bay area
  • rangers in Kakadu Homelands
  • rangers working in Jabiru.

Purchase limits and drinking restrictions

The following areas have limits and restrictions.

Anson Bay

Guests of the permit holder (helifish workers) can only consume BYO liquor, with a meal, while on a helifish tour.

Liquor must be purchased by guests separate to the helifish booking, as this permit does not authorise the sale of liquor to guests.

Kakadu HomelandsPermits issued only for rangers.

Choose one option per fortnight:

  • Option 1
    2 cartons of beer (heavy, mid-strength or light)
  • Option 2
    24 cans (375mL) of ready to drink mixes
  • Option 3
    24 cans of cider
  • Option 4
    4 bottles (750mL) of wine
  • Option 5
    2 bottles (750mL) of spirits
