Aboriginal Business Development Program (ABDP)

The Aboriginal Business Development Program (ABDP) assists Aboriginal people to start or expand their business with grants between $1,000 and $30,000.

Grant recipients also get one-on-one support from a small business champion.

Who can apply

To be eligible for grant assistance, you must satisfy all of the following:

  • you must be a resident of the NT
  • your business must be more than 50% Aboriginal owned and operated, and based and registered in the NT
  • the application must demonstrate viable business and have relevant approvals such as:
    • building permission
    • licences.

How to apply

To find out of you are eligible for the program, contact a small business champion.

You will be put in contact with a small business champion in your region.
