All of the following provide defence support industry programs and workshops available to businesses.

Australian Industry Defence Network NT

The Australian Industry and Defence Network NT (AIDN-NT) offers support for small to medium businesses working in the defence industry.

Centre for Defence Industry Capability

The Centre for Defence Industry Capability (CDIC) supports Australian businesses by:

  • helping them navigate the defence market
  • providing advice on improving competitiveness and accessing global markets
  • building connections with other businesses and defence.

Study course sponsorship

You can apply for sponsorship to undertake the Defence and Industry Study Course (DISC).

Industry awards

The NT Department of the Chief Minister and Cabinet's Defence Support Industry Awards recognise local businesses that work hard to support the army, navy and air force in the Northern Territory.

The major award is the Minister's Award for Excellence in the defence Industry. This award provides the winner with a prize of $5,000 to help grow their business.
