Asset Assistance Grant
Non-profit organisations (NPO) whose assets have been significantly damaged as a direct result of an eligible disaster can apply to access the grant.
What you can get
You can apply for a grant of up to $10,000 to repair or replace an asset that:
- was controlled by an NPO before the declared disaster event
- will bring future economic benefits to the NPO
- was significantly damaged as a direct result of the disaster event
- has no alternative funding source to rectify the damage and used any available cash reserve or insurance prior to seeking assistance.
Who can apply
NPO's impacted by the January 2024 northern region flooding (Australian Government reference number 1103) in the local government area (LGA) of :
- Victoria Daly
- Barkly
- Litchfield
- Roper Gulf
- West Arnhem.
NPO’s impacted by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Megan and associated flooding (Australian Government reference 1116) in the following LGA’s:
- Roper Gulf
- East Arnhem
- West Arnhem.
