Agricultural Value-Add Grant - Round 2

The Agricultural Value-Add Grant supports Territory primary producers and agricultural-linked businesses to invest in projects that strengthen productivity, diversification, and value-adding across the NT agriculture sector.

Round 2 outcomes

Round 2 of the Agricultural Value-Add Grant Program closed on 3 November 2025.

Following a competitive assessment process, 8 Territory businesses have been awarded a total of $258,000 in funding.

The round attracted 53 applications and is supporting more than $830,000 in total project investment, demonstrating strong industry co-investment across the NT.

Go Wide Cattle Company Development of silage feeding yards and feed storage to support consistent beef and buffalo supply
Berrimah Cattle Company Export yards upgrades including digital traceability, water infrastructure, and security improvements
NT Tropical Passionfruit Expansion of trellis and packing infrastructure and trial of new passionfruit cultivars
Allison Hayward Establishment of a tropical avocado propagation nursery using NT-adapted varieties

Funding for Round 2 was delivered in partnership with the Commonwealth Government.
