Cold stores

If you want to build and run a meat cold storage facility in the Northern Territory (NT) you will need to meet the requirements of the Meat Industries Act 1996 and Meat Industries Regulations 1997.

National standards

The NT has adopted the Australian Standard for the Hygienic Production and Transportation of Meat and Meat Products for Human Consumption.
