Larrimah agricultural development

Larrimah Farms Pty Ltd will develop a 5,712ha site located 180km south of Katherine, surrounding the town of Larrimah on the Stuart Highway.

The Larrimah agricultural development has around 1,400ha of land suitable for growing a range of crops along with livestock production across the site.

Larrimah Farms Pty Ltd, is an Australian owned partnership with extensive hands on experience in primary production and agribusiness, and strong industry relationships in the Northern Territory as well as in New South Wales and South Australia.

Government support

To support this initiative, the NT Government has played a key role by:

• completing thorough land suitability assessments
• providing information on land tenure
• facilitating regulatory approvals processes
• stakeholder engagement.

Agriculture potential

The development has the capacity to accommodate multiple agricultural and horticultural activities and high yield crops such as  mangoes and melons, crops such as sorghum and cattle production.
