Change contact details: vehicle registration

It is free to change your contact details on your registration – including your address, email and phone number.

On the MVR Quick Pay website

You will need:

  • your registration number (plate number) and customer ID shown on your registration renewal notice
  • or the transaction number shown on your registration renewal notice - see below:

It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you have given to MVR remains accurate and you have 14 days to notify the MVR of any changes.

NT rego app

You can change your contact details using the free NT rego app.

You can change your contact details by sending an email to mvr@nt.gov.au.

Phone

You can change your contact details by calling the MVR on 1300 654 628.

You can also change your details through a local participating Australia Post Office that provides MVR driver licence and vehicle registration services or visit your local MVR office.
