Pay a fee and receive your learner driver licence

If you are enrolled in DriveSafe NT Remote, you do not need to pay the learner licence fee.

All other drivers will have to pay the learner licence fee. You can pay this at your local police station using cash.

You will then have your photo taken.

This will be sent away for your licence to be processed. Your learner licence will then be mailed to you.

When you get your licence, you can start driving with a fully licensed adult driver in the front passenger seat.
