Early Childhood Safe Start, Strong Futures plan 2026
The Early Childhood Safe Start, Strong Futures plan 2026 aims to improve the quality of early childhood education and care services and ensure consistent implementation of child safety practices across the NT.
Since the plan launched in December 2025, investments in better quality and care across the sector have resulted in measurable improvements in:
- meeting and exceeding Quality Area 2: Children’s Health and Safety
- overall performance against the National Quality Standard.
